Asgard Eco 12.6 Glamping Tent - 12.6 m² | 6 person | Sandshell

Can we design a tent built 100% from nature’s own resources - without any plastic, metal, or synthetic components? One that would decompose if left underground, and truly follow the circle of life?

The answer is yes.

Sleeping outside is already a big step toward responsible tourism and a happier life, but we are always looking for new ways to protect nature through the production processes and materials we use.

The result is the Asgard ECO - our new concept tent for a sustainable future.

The canvas itself is made from hemp fibres, a plant-based fabric that can be grown and processed both ecologically and rapidly. It is strong, soft, and quiet, making it ideal for tent use.

Of course, no chemicals are involved. Instead, the fabric is treated with beeswax, providing the same level of water protection as our regular cotton tents, while maintaining excellent breathability and a comfortable inner climate.

All straps and guy lines are made from sisal fibre, and zippers have been replaced with loops and wooden toggles. This solution is not only functional but also adds a decorative, natural aesthetic. The mesh doors and windows are made from organic cotton, and the tent is pitched using bamboo poles and pegs.

Specifications:

  • Flysheet material: Organically grown hemp and cotton
  • Groundsheet: Detachable straw mat floor
  • Poles: Bamboo (wood)
  • Guy lines: 8 mm sisal rope with seashell cord stoppers
  • Mesh windows: Organic cotton mesh
  • Pegs: Bamboo (wood)
  • Coating: Beeswax

All materials are natural and must be treated accordingly. This means the tent must always be packed completely dry and free from stains such as debris, insects, or bird droppings. It should also be stored in a fully dry environment, as moisture can negatively affect the materials.
